1/11 - ALBERTA VIEWS MAGAZINE: 2012 GUIDE COVERS
I did the covers for the guide sections in each of the 10 editions in this neat magazine that's all about the people and culture of Alberta. Art Direction by the lovely Beate Wichmann.

2/11 - SIDNEY YORK: MR. CHESTERFIELD THE FIRST POSTER
And yet another poster I made for Sidney York to promote their big spring tour. I like doing posters!

3/11 - SIDNEY YORK: POUTINE POSTER
Another poster I made for the band Sidney York to promote their five day tour of Ontario with the Montreal band Honheehonee. I think they planned on eating lots and lots of poutine.

4/11 - SIDNEY YORK POSTER
A poster I made for the singer/songwriter Sidney York to promote her Western Canadian tour. In each town they were playing with a local band and had some silly competition, the loser of which had to play a horrible cover song at the show. How ridiculous!

5/11 - WIND, TRANSPORT: ADVERTISING ILLUSTRATIONS FOR GAZ METRO
These are two more illustrations that I've done for Gaz Metro featuring the little blue flame evolving into a pattern of natural elements. I again provided squares that can be cropped to suit different applications. I've shown them here in their complete format, with the titles placed on them just to show the type that I created.

Blue China Marker on Watercolor paper. 35 x 35 inches
Art Direction by Annik Bouchard from Sid Lee

6/11 - MY HEAD IS FILLED WITH SONG PART III: THE LATE GREATS BY WILCO
This is an ongoing personal project drawing inspiration from one of my favourite things: MUSIC! I'm using songs that have effected me in some way or that I just really like, and am creating album covers for them based on my interpretation of the song.

The third is "The Late Greats" by Wilco. Acrylic, gouache and fabric.

7/11 - A NATURAL EVOLUTION: ADVERTISING ILLUSTRATION FOR GAZ METRO
The client wanted to be able to use the illustration for a number of different uses, and so to accomodate vertical and horizontal formats, I created a square that can be cropped accordingly. Below is a detail showing the texture. China marker on watercolour paper.
